Flowers by Day…Fires by Night
Please join WaterFire Providence and The Groden Network "Your Autism Experts" as we work together to bring the beauty of WaterFire to the light of day. You can help us transform some of the WaterFire braziers into brilliant, living, flame-hued flower baskets for all to enjoy in the days between WaterFire events. By supporting The Fire Flower Project you will bring to life a vibrant display of flower-filled braziers during the 2010 WaterFire season.

Your flowers will be cultivated, tended, and nurtured by persons with autism at the Groden Network and on public view in the WaterFire braziers in the middle of the Providence River. On WaterFire evenings, the fire flower baskets will be featured in the park as part of the larger WaterFire celebration.
Your support gives clients of the Groden Network’s Cove Center an exciting new opportunity to learn vocational, social, and communication skills; have fun in the sun on the river in downtown Providence; and know they are contributing to the beautification of our community in a very visible way. This will further validate the work and accomplishments of persons with autism and related developmental disabilities. There is a place for everyone in our community to make a meaningful contribution towards making our city more beautiful. This sense of worth is a priceless gift, please join us.
Your support also helps WaterFire fulfill its commitment to inspire Providence and its visitors, revitalize the urban experience, foster community engagement, and creatively transform our city.
